Any student who wishes to try out for a sport must submit all required forms to their coach prior to tryouts.  The forms can be found under the "required forms" tab  to the right on this page.  No student will be allowed to tryout  without turning in a completed set of forms.  Please see Mrs. Bhatia if you have any questions.

Morgan Brown

Morgan is  from Waxhaw, NC where she attended Parkwood High School. She was the Union County player of the year in both her junior and senior years. Morgan attended Limestone College where She played for four years and graduated as the All-Time Assist Leader. While playing at Limestone she competed in Four NCAA Tournaments, won Four Conference Titles, won Three Conference Tournaments, and had an Elite 8 and Final 4 appearance. In addition to being a player for Limestone, Morgan  was also grad-assistant for three additional years and helped lead Limestone’s Women’s Basketball Team to an undefeated regular season, three conference titles, one conference tournament, and three NCAA appearances. She finished her Master’s Degree in business administration in June and looks forward to becoming the new Girls Basketball Coach at Parkwood Middle School.

Heather McWhorter

PWMS has a new basketball cheer coach!  Heather McWhorter is a local business owner and a Parkwood Middle and High School alum.  Heather has over ten years coaching experience in both soccer and cheer.  She is also an accredited interscholastic coach.  Coach McWhorter is looking forward to a fantastic cheer season!
