Marvin Ridge High School and Middle School sports are great events that bring together students, parents, friends and the community. The primary purpose of the Marvin Ridge Mavericks Athletic Booster Club (MRMABC) is to support and encourage all middle and high school student-athletes. We operate in partnership with the athletic directors and the schools to ensure that our athletic programs are successful.
The Marvin Ridge Mavericks Athletic Booster Club is looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to fill vacancies on our Executive Board and Committees for the 2019-2020 School year. All Executive Board positions are for two-year terms beginning June 1, 2019. Elections will be held at the general meeting on Monday, May 20th at 6pm in the MRHS Media Center. You must be a paid booster club member to be nominated and to vote.
We strongly encourage all parents and others in the community to join the booster club and help support ALL athletic programs at Marvin Ridge High School and Middle School. We offer two membership levels ranging in price from $75 to $575. Click here for more information and to join now. By joining the booster club, you help fund the current operating costs as well as helping us save for future needs. Membership also entitles you to vote or run for office.
MRMABC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization run primarily by parent volunteers. We need your help to be successful. There is a whole group of volunteers working behind the scenes from managing spirit wear orders to updating schedules. However, there is always more work than active volunteers. The Marvin Ridge Mavericks Athletic Booster Club encourages individual HIGH SCHOOL teams to conduct their own fundraising events. This helps the athletes and parents get involved in building their desired sport. All fundraising opportunities must be approved by the Booster Club Executive Board. Once the event is completed, the funds raised are separately designated for that team, and the coach can determine what the funds are used to purchase. 10% of the net profit from all High School team fundraisers is contributed to the booster club capital reserve fund.
