Parkwood routed Buford on Friday night, 53-3 to move to 3-1 on the season, it's the Rebels best start since 2015.
Parkwood's defense currently ranked third (ave. points allowed) in the Southern Carolina Conference. The Parkwood D has held opponents to single-digit scoring in two consecutive weeks also something that hasn't happened since '15.
Aside from their defensive prowess, the Rebels have benefitted from an offensive attack that has gained over 770 yards and scored 102 points over the last two weeks.
Parkwood can run the ball thanks to Sametrius Drakeford who has run the ball 57 times for 317 yards and four TDs on the season. The senior is one of the county's top running backs.
Brock Cain, the Rebels senior quarterback, is also a threat on the ground gaining 201 yards and scoring six touchdowns. Cain's quarterback play has improved every week, all good signs for Rebel nation heading into a bye week and then conference play.
